Most failed TikTok downloads come from the link, not the downloader. Copy the link from the video’s Share › Copy link button (not the profile), make sure the video is public and still online, then paste it again. If it still fails, refresh the page, try another browser, and check your storage space.

1. You copied a profile or search link

A downloader needs the link to one video. Links that work look like tiktok.com/@user/video/1234… or the short form vm.tiktok.com/…. A link to a profile, a sound page or a search result will not work.

In the TikTok app, open the video itself, tap Share (the arrow), then Copy link.

2. The account is private

Videos from private accounts are only visible to approved followers, so no online downloader can fetch them. Only public videos can be saved.

3. The video was deleted or hidden
